We're looking for a creative, fast, and skilled Thumbnail Designer who knows how to turn simple ideas into visuals people want to click. You have a strong eye for design, excellent Photoshop skills, and an understanding of what makes a thumbnail stand out. You can move quickly from concept to execution, experiment with different styles, and consistently deliver high-quality work.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in our offices on Calea Victoriei, Bucharest. A strong portfolio is required, and our recruitment process includes a practical design test.

What You'll Do

• Design eye-catching, high-performing thumbnails for our YouTube channel.

• Turn video topics, titles, and briefs into creative visual concepts that spark curiosity and drive clicks.

• Use Photoshop for advanced photo manipulation, compositing, retouching, and visual effects.

• Create multiple thumbnail concepts and variations, experimenting with composition, colors, lighting, and typography.

• Research YouTube trends, competitors, and successful thumbnail styles to find inspiration and new creative directions.

• Use AI image generation and editing tools to improve creativity and speed up production.

• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to develop and refine visual ideas.

• Iterate quickly based on feedback, testing, and performance insights.

• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining consistently high quality.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in thumbnail design, graphic design, or a similar creative role.

• Excellent Adobe Photoshop skills, especially photo manipulation, compositing, and retouching.

• Strong visual instincts and an understanding of what makes thumbnails engaging and clickable.

• Creativity and original thinking, with the ability to develop compelling concepts from simple briefs.

• Speed and efficiency, without compromising attention to detail or design quality.

• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, contrast, color, typography, and visual hierarchy.

• Good research skills and the ability to identify effective visual trends and references.

• Experience with AI-powered creative tools, or the ability to learn them quickly.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and adapt quickly to feedback.

• Good English proficiency for understanding briefs and researching English-language content.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

• A strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating thumbnails for established YouTube channels.

• Understanding of CTR, A/B testing, and thumbnail performance optimization.

• Experience with AI tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT image generation, or similar platforms.

• Basic video editing or motion graphics skills.

• Interest in AI, technology, software, and digital content.

• Net monthly salary: 5,000-7,000 RON, depending on experience, portfolio, and performance in the practical assessment.
