Video Editor & Post-Production Specialist

Job Description

There’s An AI For That (TAAFT) is the world’s largest curated directory of AI tools. Every day, millions of users rely on our platform to discover and compare the latest AI solutions across every industry and use-case, from marketing and design to software development and research.

As we expand our content universe, we’re looking for a Senior Video Editor who can transform raw footage into compelling, high-quality stories that capture attention on YouTube and beyond. This is a full-time, on-site role in our modern offices on Calea Victoriei, Bucharest.

Responsibilities

  • Produce 1 long-form YouTube video per week (15-20 minutes).

  • Own the entire post-production workflow: rough cut, pacing, transitions, captions, music, audio effects, motion graphics, text animation, color, sound design, final exports, thumbnails, and social cuts.

  • Adapt long-form content into short-form assets (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).

  • Optimize every piece for its specific platform and audience, maintaining a polished, documentary-style editing approach (think ColdFusion, Vox).

  • Collaborate closely with our content lead and fellow video editors to match the channel’s style and execute on shared creative direction.

  • Work on parallel productions efficiently, turning raw content into polished videos with speed and precision.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of professional video-editing experience with a portfolio of high-performing short- and long-form content.

  • Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects; working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is a plus.

  • Strong motion graphics and text animation skills.

  • Deep understanding of storytelling, pacing, and viewer-retention strategies.

  • Comfortable using AI-powered tools to streamline workflow.

  • Solid skills in color grading, sound design, and audio cleanup.

  • Familiarity with YouTube SEO and audience psychology is a plus.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast, deadline-driven environment while staying detail-oriented.
